What You Will Do:
Under limited supervision; transports patients, specimens, and equipment to and from various locations in accordance with Medical Center and department policies and procedures. Ensures the safe, timely and efficient transport of patients, specimens, and equipment throughout the Medical Center. Contributes to the smooth operational flow of the department, and promotes a positive image of the Patient Transportation Department and the Medical Center. Fulfillment of the job duties requires the employee to have access to medication storage areas.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Completion of a high school level of course work with attainment of a high school diploma or High School Equivalency Certificate (GED). Ability to learn and apply CPR for emergency patient care
